Critical Infrastructure (March 4-5 2010, Singapore) The GCSE organizing committee is inviting
a highly selective group of high-level decision-makers, senior leaders and
managers, and expert academics dealing with critical infrastructure in the
North American and Asia Pacific region to engage together in defining the
infrastructure challenges of the first half of the 21st century.
It is anticipated that the outcomes of the workshop will be published as a
reference book on the state of the art of critical infrastructure knowledge
and practice. The GCSE Organizing committee has identified close to 50
individuals as potential invitees to the global expert roundtable, and
already received positive replies from close to a dozen invitees comprising a
group of distinguished individuals who can help set the research agenda for
critical infrastructure systems in the years to come. In addition to the
historical significance of this unique event, participation at the event will
allow the creation of a global network of experts and decision-makers in the
United States, Singapore, India, the PR. China and other countries that will
continue to collectively explore emergent trends and challenges in the years
to come. The roundtable will be by invitation
only, but the sessions will be available online on the GCSE website within a
